Hey, this is Isang Smith from On Point Sports Care, and in this video mini-series we get to visit the Acupuncture Practice of Zach Haigney, founder and owner of Athlos Sports Acupuncture.
Zach received his Masters Degree after studying for 3 years at Tri-State College of Acupuncture. He has a focus on pain and sports related injuries and has received training from some of the best in the world of Sports Acupuncture.
What many people don’t know is that Acupuncture is a highly effective, time-tested treatment for sports injuries. It helps to resolve pain, it accelerates the healing process, and it helps to relax muscles and improve circulation.
In recent years, Acupuncture has been recognized by the U.S. Military, World Health Organization, and countless other health institutions as an effective means to address pain.
So, acupuncture is known to work for pain, which is great to hear since athletes bodies suffer a lot of wear and tear.
But, what many may be surprised to hear is that Acupuncture is most beneficial during training cycles before an injury actually occurs.
So, this month, On Point Sports Care will be sharing more about how Acupuncture can help you during your recovery phases. Our friend Zach will explain in future episodes how the recovery process works through Acupuncture, and why he believes Athletes stand to gain through this powerful medicine.
Thanks for tuning in for this episode. On Point Sports Care is here to help you Train Hard. Recover Fast. Stay On Point.
